CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Scope

This Cancellation Policy governs the cancellation of orders, donations, and recurring contributions made through the website www.lakshmikendra.org and its alias domains (the “Platform”), operated by Lakshmikendra (the “Trust”). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy. Refunds arising from cancellations under this Policy are processed in the manner and within the timelines set out in the Refund Policy.

2. Cancellation of Product Orders by the User

• Before dispatch: You may cancel an order, in whole or in part, at any time before it is dispatched, through your account on the Platform or by writing to payments@mayapur.ngo quoting the order number. On such cancellation, the full amount paid for the cancelled items, including proportionate shipping charges, will be refunded.
• After dispatch: Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. Any recourse thereafter is governed by the Refund Policy (damaged, defective, incorrect, or undelivered Products).
• Made-to-order and seva-linked items: Items that are custom-made, consecrated, or prepared specifically against your order (including prasadam and offerings) cannot be cancelled once preparation has commenced.

3. Cancellation of Orders by the Trust

We may cancel an order, in whole or in part, before dispatch, where: (a) the Product is unavailable or out of stock; (b) there is an error in pricing, description, or listing; (c) the order or payment is flagged as suspicious or potentially fraudulent by us, the payment gateway, or the acquiring bank; (d) the delivery address is unserviceable; or (e) the order breaches our Terms and Conditions. In every such case, the full amount paid for the cancelled items will be refunded in accordance with the Refund Policy, and we shall have no further liability in respect of the cancelled order.

4. Cancellation of Donations

A one-time Donation, once successfully processed, cannot be cancelled; erroneous or duplicate Donations are addressed under Section 2.2 of the Refund Policy. If a Donation transaction is initiated but abandoned before payment confirmation, no amount is payable, and any amount debited notwithstanding such abandonment will be treated as a failed transaction under Section 4 of the Refund Policy.

5. Recurring Donations and Standing Instructions

Where the Platform offers recurring Donations or seva subscriptions by way of e-mandate, standing instruction, or UPI Autopay:
• You may cancel the recurring instruction at any time through your account on the Platform, or by writing to payments@mayapur.ngo, or through your bank or UPI application, in accordance with the applicable directions of the Reserve Bank of India on e-mandates for recurring transactions.
• A cancellation request received at least three (3) business days before the next scheduled debit date will take effect before that debit. Requests received later will take effect from the following billing cycle, and the intervening debit, being a completed Donation, will not be refunded.
• Cancellation of a recurring instruction operates prospectively only and does not affect Donations already processed.

6. Event, Seva, and Booking Cancellations

Where the Platform accepts bookings for sevas, yajnas, ceremonies, accommodations, or events on specified dates: (a) cancellation requests received at least [7] days before the scheduled date will be eligible for a full refund; (b) requests received between [7] days and [48 hours] before the scheduled date will be eligible for a [50%] refund; and (c) requests received within [48 hours] of the scheduled date, or after the seva or event has been performed or commenced, are not eligible for any refund.
